Larry Elder Is An Idiot!

For a black man to not understand the demeaning connotation behind the "Barack the Magic Negro" song/satire piece is simply frightening! He cites the fact that southern white Democrats used to support the Klan। Well, that very well just might have been. But, should blacks now accept ANYthing that white Republicans want to throw at them as being "harmless prattle"?

His naivety might be understandable if he were a dewy twenty year old. But, alas, he's not. If you have seen him on CNN you will readily determine he's advanced in age. The number of gray strands in his hair announces his maturity. Therefore, it is no excuse for his ignorance. He should be well aware of the negative perspectives levied upon African Americans due only to their race. The jokes that they have been forced to ignore never had validity. Had it been done to any other race, the law suits would have been staggering. In fact, no one would have dared make jokes based upon another peoples' race, claiming their inability to perform in many professional positions or at intelligent/intellectual levels. I say to Mr. Elder, you no longer have to hide behind a false, grinning face. You can allow your dissatisfaction with the denigrating platitudes from those who would disrespect you and your accomplishments to be vented. There is no need for you to "turn the other cheek." Be a man. Stand up for yourself. Stop following in the footsteps of Steppin Fetch It. He had no choice. You do...or you could, if you so wish it.
